Quite a bit of viewing/reading/absorbing/experiencing worked into the week...I'm not a big fan of the "here's the update" post, but this'll have to do until I can settle down with a themed bit of non-fiction later on this weekend.
Reading
Still working my way through my hella thick library book...
Robin wrapped up her blogging marathon this week, with a million and one crescendos. I no longer distrust the internet. Good can be gleened from all the sex and money and billboards. The Coke sign on Bryant takes on beauty.
Writing
Attended my first Meetup this week, and...no one else showed up. Not so much disappointed as recognizing that this is a solitary practice and should stay that way. (The group was less of a "read your stuff" than a "let's write for an hour like Goldberg's groups do." These groups do not exist, or, they only exist in St. Paul or Taos. But the dream is nice, Teacher.)
Working better with the fiction. Actually burned through this week a couple of times...
Skip The Math
Rent the movie "Waitress." Hell, buy it. Disregard the fact that the director and co-star of the movie only got to make this movie and then was murdered. God puts us here to fulfill and walk off, but you will never see pie or love the same way again.
Robin's final November post linked to a collaboration of masters in many ways. This one was my favorite.

And yes, Robin, Mary does kick ass and take names on this one. She doesn't have a bad back-up band either...lol...
More to come, dear reader, and I keep at it.
