The Movie's Better

Went to see Ms. Kahlo's work today...and saw mostly the back of people's heads. It was stirring to see all of the paintings, but I didn't get to see the whole canvas at once, and most of the time I was being pushed out of the way.

I was a little surprised that "timed" tickets weren't more organized in their deliverence and execution of the show.

Still, there were other high points: photos of Frida in downtown SF, and even a home movie of her with Diego at home in Blue House. She was completely charming, showing the camera how she put fresh blooms in her hair that Diego brought from the garden.

Nice exhibit, but it would be better (albeit more inaccurate) to watch the movie. That can be seen on the entire screen...unless maybe the kids are watching. But the kids shouldn't really watch this one. ;)
