Step 1: Buy a Kindle.
Step 2: Open said Kindle on the Number 6 Parnassus and read. Enjoy. Be sure to sit next to a smart and pleasant looking guy.
Step 3: Close said Kindle and contemplate what you just read.
Step 4: Enjoy the conversation that ensues. iPod or other mp3 player or even cell phone is optional. They'll talk to you anyway.
