Work has become an exercise in not losing my temper. More and more, as each person does their own thing, and this becomes less about operating as a team, I pick up more of everyone else’s “not my job” stuff.
It’s not so much about people stepping up to the plate. It’s about assuming that I will cover all of the plates, shortstop, and the outfield.
Here’s what I do to stay sane:
I use my paper calendar as a diary of what I managed to accomplish, no matter how small.
I drink water.
I keep in touch with the district trainer, who just joined the district and is already sane.
There has to be more I can do, but this is trial and error on what works.
