My generation's Kennedy has arrived.
Be well, dear reader. There is now hope.
But then, I had dreams 5 years ago as I read a book, written by a very good writer. A dream of hope then.
Kind of nice to see it come true.

Rob Thomas
Don't know what made me think of him--oh, wait, yes I do. I was at California Pizza Kitchen downtown this afternoon at 3:30 for lunch (breakfast was at 5 am...do that math and tell me that I'm healthy) and they were playing a number of mainstream stuff on the Muzak. One of them was Rob Thomas singing "Ever The Same."
Takes me back to chess with Mary.
You win some, you lose some. Apply that on three different levels and you get the triple-word score, Dexter.
******
So I got all excited this afternoon knowing that I would get to see the debate--big freakin' deal. The two of them swapping slick stuff, that is. And I was so excited about Obama. Now the two of them and their henchmen/women just make my eyes roll back in the back of my skull. Snoring emits.
LIGHT ME UP, FELLAS. STOP SAYING THE "RIGHT THING" AND MAKE A MISTAKE SO THAT I KNOW YOU HAVE A PULSE.
Sigh.
Anyway, gonna watch a Netflix and curl up with a piece of my roommate's cake.
Sleep well, dear reader.

A Sorta Fairytale
Is it just me, or somewhere along the way did the 2008 Presidential campaign turn into something far away and completely unrealistic?
Like the life overseas soldiers imagine we have?
Or like I used to imagine California life?
;)
