Blog 365

Well, here it is, the final post of 2008. For those of you who haven't tuned into my Facebook profile, I've started my vacation from the work on the other side of the Bay, and with that I wanted to take some time off from the blog as well to regroup and decide how I wanted to address blog entries in the future.

As readers may or may not know, I actually have five blogs through Blogger as the crow flies:

Not to mention the one that you are reading right here.

I haven't been very attentive to some of these, which breaks my heart--I created them to be more creative myself. For 2009 my hope is to sort of rotate them. Shut Up and Write is starting a second set of sessions in the City on Wednesday nights, and I would like to go back to "reporting" from the session, just to give readers a sense of what the group is like and what we do, not to mention how I grow as a writer from it.

And with that, I bid you a happy 2009, and I'll be back in when I'm ready...

Over, and out, Blog 365.

I always thought Blog 365 was a harsh little project. Daily writing can be a good thing, but there are many days when one simply doesn't have the time or the energy to write something meaningful. I look forward to seeing more voices from you in 2009, spread across your various blogs, rather than just having to feed the beast.

Best to you in 2009!
